Hi ya..I am fairly new to yoga (practicing for

about 4 mos now) and ran into a technical prob..lol..my

Richard Freeman video broke and I thought I'd ask if

ya'll think I should just replace it as it's a superb

one or is there an even better video I could

use??<br><br>Thanks!<br>Robin M.<br>"bobbi-thang"

I also am new, practicing for about 4 months. I

was working from the Richard Freeman tape but have

sought a certified teacher. It is my feeling that the

Richard Freeman's tape put me in a good position for the

class, but it is absolutely clear to me that if you can

find a good teacher it makes all the difference. I've

looked at other video tapes, ie David Swenson and

Ashtanga Yoga First Series - w/ KPJ. The latter is not

instructional but terrific for watching the flow. Between David

Swenson and Richard Freeman, I have a stronger feeling

for Freeman as an instructor. As a fellow newbie, I

wish you luck and highly suggest you get a teacher if

you can. The simple subtleties I've picked up just

from the short time I've been going to Mysore style

classes is truly remarkable...for lack of a better word.

Thanks so much for your input!!! Was beginning to

think I was being ignored (wahhhh ;o). I think i will

probably re-order that Richard Freeman video. Can you tell

me where I may find a listing of Mysore-trained

teachers?? (My sense is that Swenson is probably not hard on

the eyes however as a teacher but I digress..

giggle!)<br><br>Thanks again! And my best to you!<br>Robin M.
