I visited sometimes even Iyengar-classes (it is

said that they are better in theory like ashtangaboys)

where the teachers were not able to answer questions.

Imo: One good book can help more than 2 half-good

teachers. And once more, and again and again, there is one

book and a very good book to learn the basics, the

book of Beryl Bender Birch. It is much better than

many other books that we have discussed here from

certified teachers, because in BBBB (BBB's book) there are

explanations, so you are able to understand what you are doing.

Exactly that is the point, why Iyengar is so popular,

because of this understanding of asanas. The students are

able to follow. BBB is not only writing stories, but

she also could give advice in many cases; you don't

find this in most other ashtanga-books. Yes, this is

one/my reality, I'm sorry. You all ashtanga-saints

should read it again with tolerance. As I asked here

some years ago where is the difference between

Power-Yoga and Ashtanga-Yoga I only got few satisfied

answers from you; do you really know the difference, or
