Guest guest
Jess,
What is psycho teacher's email? She does not list it on her website. SInce everyone there knows each others names, I thought I might take a moment to introduce myself.

Also, DO file a claim in small claims court. The courthouse is right down in West Newton. I'de also suggest calling the Newton Chamber of Commerce, or you could even go to a Newton City Council meeting. And definitely call the BBB and file a complaint. (Ironic acronym...)

Small claims court charges a $15(or so) filing fee. They give you a court date and they deliver a summons to the defendant - if you are lucky, it'll be a big hairy guy who looks like he'd kill a vegetarian. Maybe he'll deliver it right to the studio. As far as I'm concerned, that is worth the 15 bucks and maybe even the price of your teacher training course.
Good Luck
FBL
Guest guest
Her email address can be found on the Studio News page. I notice on the Rates page the statement "No refunds for any reason!" I also wonder if the training course for which the refund is requested has already been completed or almost completed, which is a different situation than dropping out early.

And in reference to SPW's last post, that was not a web address, it is an email address. The implication is that Jess should email him to arrange a meeting at his home. He has made such comments here to other young women.

As the Yoga World Turns....... Guest guest
woow, the delivery is worth the 15 bucks. Nasty. How many people have you had a summons delivered to? (...while i pencil in "don't pick a fight with funky IF she knows my address")

Guest guest
J-
I had to ask about the LS guy (can't even say his name) because I just wanted to confirm what it turns out I already know - that he has never been to India let alone all of the other crap he lays on people including 'certifying' people to teach - and this woman in Newton - 'Yoga With Judi' claims she went to Mysore in 1995 and that she has been certified to teach ashtanga by LS. She is a fraud and completely out of her mind (based on my professional assesment.) All you have to do is read her website and it is obvious she hasn't a clue... Sue her. She is not an honest businesswoman.
FBL
