what the heck, since we're on the topic, i'm

bored enough and everyone who wants to hate me already

does ....

although i've never said it to

another yoga student here goes : my third eye pops out

when someone rocksup to a yoga class in the west IN

UNDERWEAR. Hello? The rest of us got DRESSED.

My best

is if it an middle aged lady looking outof sorts in

calvin kleins. I can see how a madonna type can pull

that off as a fashion trend to which i say - if you

can make something odd look groovy -do it . But hey

if it makes you look like it is an early onset of

alzheimers.....RECONSIDER!

I have seen people come to yoga in yoga

clothes

that are worn and ...that's cool - so you're saving to

go to mysore. More power to you not to be vain and

prancing around in the latest synthetic crap. And i have

as yet not found yoga pictures amusing. I guess up

to now the poses were the focus. I don't generally

laugh at yoga outfits but something that jumps out by

being oddly revealing or out of place makes me wonder

what that person was THINKING.

None of this

applies to a case of have no money. If you have no money

wear whatever it takes but come to class and practice.

I myself have no calvin kleins to lend out -

primarily to avoid dashing off to yoga in it.

Awhile ago I commented on why it was so many

women wear full tights, even during summer. To be

honest, a part of me humanly yeared to see more human

beauty....

But a day or so after, as if one of the ascended

Rishis heard me and wished to teach me a lesson, someone

showed up to yoga wearing nothing but a bikini. This

event messed with me bigtime, even though I always am

careful to keep my gaze and not gawk.

I felt as

though I were in a scene out of somekind of Russ Meyer B

movie, "Revenge of the Yoga Babes."

here's the answer on tights for myself at

least:

arm balances and traction. if i'm sweating profusley

regardless of season (as I do in ashtanga classes) I my

sweaty legs can slide off my sweaty arms during things

like crane and crow unless i have tights on. Also my

studio offers some non traditional classes outside of

set series, and trying other arm balances can be a

pain without TRACTION from tights.

lol.
Jess
