Guest guest
The ghita technologies website has great tips under the heading of OTHER. To get to it - It is listed on the ashtanga website under LINKS.

some things they suggest:

Don't flap. If you're a heavy sweater you'll know how chilling it can be to have someone even lightly flap a rug or mat near you when you're into your practice. Those not yet sweating won't even notice. Be aware of those around you and drag or unroll rugs, mats and blankets out from floor level.

Shower before practice. A couple of things here. (a) The whole detox via sweating/rubbing the sweat back in thing is kind of unattractive and less effective if you're not clean. (b) Think of the teachers, they have to lean on you, grab you, push
and pull you - don't make teaching a misery for them. Clean clothes, clean mat, clean skin.
