Guest guest
yesterday it came to my attention that someone had joined the club under the name shiTTing skull (i apologize for actually having to say that here), which is crude enough. But worse is that this person on his profile page said he ma....s (something cruder) to john scotts picture.

I alerted Betty Lai to this, and this morning the profile page was changed. Thanx to Betty Lai.

This club is for all of us equally....and we joke and tease and sometimes annoy..temporarily. But it is all in the sense of enjoyment.

Humbly I ask, let us keep things relatively decent. And given that that may have been a joke....but please may i invite you to take a prettier name. Also i notice that someone joined yesterday under the name of pispot?? It sounds like bathroom times...

So, welcome to new members and also feel welcome to get a name that ...well...is not bathroom related.

Comments/support anyone? But I'm not feeling very hopeful.

Homer
Guest guest
So you deleted this guy because you didn't like his profile but this Senor guy can insult whoever he wants? What's up with that? Did you know his name translates to "Mr. Fucking Asshole"? Sounds like a double standard to me.

Scott
Guest guest
My understood from chamoya's post that she merely persuaded the club founder to alter the vulgar profile, not to cancel the person's membership.

As for Senor, you could plow through thousands of previous posts, but the summary is that he's gotten called down for his strident tone many times in the past, to the point where most folks don't bother anymore. Also, there has been a discussion of the meaning of Senor's name: the view then was that it was rather milder than the translation you suggest -- "little chumpy guy", or some such thing. Maybe I should pull out a dictionary and check for myself.

By the way, I don't see the point of actually deleting someone. The recent omprem-omboy fights indicate that the offending parties would simply resurrect themselves under new guises and get more vicious.

Peace and Good,
Homer
Guest guest
Thanks Homer.

I went into the member list and didn't see any shitting skull, just a shining one. So I assumed he got deleted. But you mean a club founder can alter a member's profile? That's not cool no matter what it says. I'd rather just be deleted.

A friend of mine who speaks some Spanish told me that's what his name means. So Senor is the club's version of the crazy homeless guy on the bus who won't stop cussing at you? Okay, I get it.

Scott
Guest guest
Actually, I can't take credit for deleting or altering the member/profile in question. Maybe the member had a change of heart. Anyway, this is a public forum. In the history of this club, I have deleted only one member so far because she was spamming everyone. However, may I remind you of the relevant Guidelines for posting:

Do not harass, abuse, or threaten other members.
Do not post content that is obscene or otherwise objectionable.
Try to stay on topic. If you want to discuss a topic that is not related to the community area in which you are participating, try going to another topic area or create a new one.
Refrain from using these community services for commercial or advertising purposes.
Don't post copyrighted content without permission from the owner.

Free speech is a balancing test.

Namaste,
Betty
Guest guest
Tshamoya - Thank you for taking the trouble to contact Betty Lai regarding "scheißender Schädel" (as "his" name would be in German). Actually, it came to my attention some time ago already that someone with that identity joined the board - interestingly, it was only one day after the equally abusive "Omprems_mother" became a member. I would also like to make plain that post #8884 is not by me!

I went to Hamburg on Friday thinking that when returning on Monday I would find this place submerged with multiple identities. I am happy to see this is not the case, and that Astanga Yoga is still the topic of the club.

As to Senor Pinche Wey - his posts may be shrill, but at least they are (mostly) funny to read. I don't doubt a second that his enthusiasm for Astanga Yoga is real.
Guest guest
hey skullman

someone had to look out for your interests while you were gone.

(Sh*thead is still lurking at
http://profiles./shitting_skull)
But we know it is just a double identity for someone else on the board who is always berating your contributions.

Couldn't believe my eyes.

(Anyway, also for some reason i cannot bring myself to read any posts from contributors whose names start with om. Blame omboor.)
Guest guest
Credit Mr Dylan, who sang (sort of), "Oh, no, no, It ain't me babe. It ain't me you're looking for."
Guest guest
If you hate this guy so much why do you keep bringing attention to him?
