Guest guest
Although ye appear to have a bonny group of folks here, one of your number has chosen to mingle with the politicos over at http://clubs./clubs/theleftisright and the lad seems to be in dire hope of escaping the wee little problem of his reputation here.

If there be one among you who might speak for or against this wayfaring stranger, please feel free to do so by following the above link and posting the fruits of your wisdom.

Before taking my leave, I leave you with a snippet from our humble discussions today.

Message 31176 of 31177 Reply

Re: something wicked this way comes omprem
(M/Ottawa, Canada) 7/8/01 6:48 pm
galfrom mich

Thanks for the offer. I'm not confirming or denying the real life identity ascribed to me in the Ashtanga Yoga club for reasons already posted at the club.

There is a flamer at that club who has targeted myself another person there. He has been more abusive toward the other person but this flamer is interested in finding out my identity and address. If he did, I'm sure that I would be getting a letter bomb from him within a week. That is why I neither confirm nor deny any speculation about who I am or where I live.

This flamer has been asked repeatedly by other members of the club to leave, but caleb didn't go back far enough to realize that. Also, the flamer uses at least 10 i.d.'s, all of which are recognized by members of that club. Caleb, however, being a visitor wouldn't know that.

I agree with you that it was particularly irresponsible and immature of caleb to post what he did but the net is inhabited by all kinds of sickos. He should have investigated the matter a little more carefully before gratifying his ego. Of the two, the flamer and Caleb, I think that Caleb is the biggest loser -- and that is saying a lot.

Something wicked this way comes --and his name is caleb.

Thanks again for raising to the occassion.

omprem

This Is a Reply to: Msg 31175 by galfrom_mich
Guest guest
I recommend everyone here read messages 31161 - 31165 on that club. Monty Python always makes everything better.
Guest guest
Refer you to the finale of Gilbert & Sullivan's Mikado:

"We do not hear the dismal sound
For joy reigns everywhere around!"

Suggest as a general guide in these parts you do the same.
