Question for second series folks.

My

understanding is that we aim eventually to do all seven

headstands together, moving arms from one to another without

coming down. I'm OK with this, but am

wondering:

1. Are these motions accomplished one hand at a

time, or both at once? Currently I do one at a

time.

2. I was taught that you first do the four bound

headstands, then the three free ones. But I read on this

board (last fall I think) a post that implied it's the

other way round -- which seems odd. Is that the new

way, or am I just confused?

Peace and

Good,
Homer

I don't know which was is new or old, but the way we do it here (certified

teacher on board) is "the other way round," vinyasa between each headstand.

After five breaths in headstand, exhale and lower

(For me its more of a drop/crash into chaturanga)then

vinyasa. (Enter next headstand from downward dog - oops

sorry ardhomukhasvanasana sp?)

I learned from

2nd series Yogaworks video.

Four bound hands

then three free.... vinyasa between each

one.

Cheers !
Warriorgirl

Sri KP used to make this a vinyasa series also. Take it up, breathing, then

slide your hands back under your shoulders as you glide to the

floor....

Yours in yoga,
