Guest guest Posted July 9, 2001 Report Share Posted July 9, 2001 homer<br><br>it was funny when you said you didn't feel hopeful - i realized me neither.<br><br>On the headstand front: from what i can tell from the teachers i've met is that they do the 3 "free" (as you call it) headstands first.I also believe guruji taught it that way on his last visit here.<br><br>But here is a puzzler for me: pasasana. The teachers I know teach it to the left side first, but i think david swenson teaches it to the right side first on his video (unless the video is twisted). Any thoughts? Guest guest Posted July 9, 2001 Report Share Posted July 9, 2001 Hmm, I'd have to check the Swenson video again: it's been a while.<br><br>I also got from a teacher that you start pasasana to the left. He gave a rule (something about a leading leg) to figure which way to start each of the "one-sided" postures in first and second series, but I couldn't understand the pattern and so eventually forgot what he said.<br><br>Well, thanks chamoya and screw; guess I'll try reversing those headstands.<br><br>Homer Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
