Guest guest
Thank you very much for some really good advice.

So it took El Senor Pinche Wey some 6 years of practice before he could do Urdhva Dhanurasana from standing? Give me 12 years and I'll do that myself! (If at all.)

Yes. To crawl down with one's hands onto a wall may not exactly feel the same as being assisted into the posture by Guruji himself, but in the absence of a qualified teacher this might be a viable option. Clearly, the real challenge is not so much the dropping back (which on itself is difficult enough) but the coming back to standing again afterwards. However, just being able to drop back would do nicely to me already...thanks.

Good luck to you too, Senor! May you be happy!
Guest guest
Agreed. dropping back is the first step but once you have mastered that, within another 2--6 months you'll be standing up too.

Hint: focus on your mulabhanda.

ole
