Guest guest Posted July 14, 2001 Report Share Posted July 14, 2001 There are two campgrounds close to Encinitas, San Elijo campgrounds, which is probably a couple of miles south of the studio(<a href=http://parks.ca.gov/allpages/default.asp?page_id=662 target=new>http://parks.ca.gov/allpages/default.asp?page_id=662</a>)<br>and South Carlsbad campgrounds (<a href=http://parks.ca.gov/allpages/default.asp?page_id=660 target=new>http://parks.ca.gov/allpages/default.asp?page_id=660</a>), maybe 8 miles north of Encinitas (BTW, for you surfers out there, surf in South Carlsbad this morning was great - head high+ and glassy)<br><br>Both campgrounds are on the bluffs above the beach, not directly on the beach.
