Guest guest
<And would like to know the format it took - what did you do on a typical day... >

A typical day started with the morning practise with people coming in at set times in fixed groups. F. Ex. 5:00 group, 5:30 group, 6:15 group etc. All groups did their practise in Mysore style, except for the kids yoga :-) that was led and started at 9:00.

After the practise there was breakfast and lunch and resting (on the beaches, in your own room, in the nature, wherever). Second leg of the days program started after the 15:30 snack when we had Yoga Playground (fun & technical issues) or watched some videos, after that we had Pranayama & Dinner.

The day usually ended with 30mins of meditation led by Lino and then it was time for swim, sauna & nighty night.

<and were most people finnish, and which language did he teach in?>

The 'official' language of the retreat was English. Lino, Tina, Elena (guest teacher from Milano), Juha, and Petri used it to communicate with the participants. There were something like 90 people attending the workshop and most of them were Finnish (of course - we've got the largest astanga scene & it was on our home turf), but there were plenty of cool people from other countries too: Germany, Denmark, Iceland, Russia, Venezuela, and USA.

<How did you like the venue?>

Very good. Must go there again next summer, Lino shall come for three weeks. Wooha!
