Guest guest
<Kind of takes a LOT of explaining, doesn't it?>

Not really. But for you, in case I did not explain this sufficiently in my "epic length posting" -
one does not have to have read a book cover to cover to be able to recommend it, one has only to know of it. Perhaps a trusted friend told me all about it, perhaps 100 people told me about it, perhaps I've read reviews of it, perhaps I've read parts of it, perhaps I read the article about the author in Yoga Journal (he was on the cover DEC 1996). I don't give myself points for reading books cover to cover and I don't have time to read nearly everything I would like to read.

<Why do you find that objectionable?>

Didn't say I did. I like your list of books. I have nothing against linking to Amazon. What is objectionable is that someone who makes money from Amazon links accuses someone who doesn't of making money linking to Amazon. (Or are you suggesting I am employing some secret conspiratorial guerilla marketing technique?)

<your good buddy Omprem>

Don't know him. Have enjoyed some of his posts. Don't wish to takes sides in your feud. Not sure what it is about. I do object to your method of attack - hijacking this forum with multiple IDs for your jihad.

<your conclusions as to my identity>

I'm a bit slow and did not catch on as quickly as many here, who have pointed out your game already. Just for fun I poked around and found this: Two days after omboy left, about 5 of your new IDs joined (khustanga, akoshbgosh, sunfunmoonjune, wayvinny, ripped5pct, ompremadonna). All with nicely filled out profiles. (That must have been fun - most new members don't fill in all the blanks). All immediately began posting attacks on Omprem. (most new members never post or they ask questions about Ashtanga yoga). Several other IDs (nandilove, raptureosis, yogadyke), joined later following the same pattern. (Don't get carried away Omprem, mulala108 is not omboy).

Also, I noticed that msgs 8100-8499 have just disappeared. Maybe its a problem. Or maybe someone took them away to discourage us from this insanity. Which would be sad because that means we lost a lot of valuable msgs over this BS.

I'm not sure how you imagine I would be making money by recommending books (or why that would be so important to you). I do have one to recommend for you though: Marvin K. Mooney, Will You Please Go Now! by Dr Seuss. You may also find Pinocchio of interest.

WILL YOU PLEASE GO NOW!!!!!!

(my apologies for the off-topic post)

The thing I find almost as strange is the constant guessing of who is really who. I've read most of the messages by these members and I see no real evidence that each and every one is the same person. Some of them may be jerks, but that doesn't mean that they are the same jerk.

For example, I don't think that Ompremadonna and Yogadyke are the same person. But I don't really know because there is no real evidence one way or the other; all I have are interpretation and suspicion. If they are Omboy then I am mistaken, but if they are not then they are being incorrectly associated with someone else's inappropriate behavior and that is not fair (though it may amuse the real Omboy to no end).

Just my 2 cents.

Sincerly,
Senor

Ooops, I mean,
EH
Guest guest
Leave me out of this. Sell all the self help books you want. It's all good. Never said it wasn't.

You should try to maintain some semblence of the average Joe in Oklahoma though. You're starting to sound like that wobbly speed freak in the marketing department when she starts borrowing money from everybody at the end of the month.
