Had my first lesson a few months ago and feel I'm progressing well...loving it too and am averaging 5-6 practises a week (2 at classes) I feel like I can do some of the poses that I haven't yet been given (head stands, dip in bujapidasana) but my teacher isn't offerring many new poses, I've been told not be be so eager. Is there a set order of introducing new poses? and who would be the best person to judge if you are ready for more challenging poses?(the owner of the body or your teacher??).. Yes, I am pretty impatient with new interests...mabe my teacher is trying to get me to appreciat the 'now' not where I want to be.
