there may be many "visitors" and even

contributors reading this who are afraid to ask exactly why it

is a criminality to deviate from traditional form.

As our resident purist, it may be informative to

many if you would set out factually the benefits of

studying ashtanga the "correct method". In fact there will

probably be many contributors. It could be a good

refresher. ?.<br><br>I checked out the atlanta address and

the one john meredith you mentioned. I could find

forgiveness ....well what was the criminality?

Oh please! It's almost sad that I'm responding to

your message about Adele, but I think someone should

back her up. I took a look at your "YOGA CRIM" list -

I think the majority of instructors fit the bill

because of #10:<br>"ever eat anything other than raw

rutabaga, swiss chard or carrot puree."<br>Give her credit

where credit is due. Picking people apart because they

are not "pure" enough is insane. Which means I think

your list is insane. I agree that being too commercial

or straying from non-traditional practice is not

good, but she definitely doesn't do either of those

things (period).<br>I have taken yoga for a number of

years & Adele recently opened my eyes to Ashtanga yoga

while I was working in Atlanta. She was the best yoga

instructor I've ever encountered (and I've tested out a lot

of different instructors). She's also a great role

model (even though she doesn't try to be - others just

brand her with that term).<br><br>PS She is a very

strong women - I don't know if I'd call her "buff" (too

thin for that term), but...something close.

Obviously you have never met Adele or John, or

been to Atlanta Yoga! There isn't a better Ashtanga

studio anywhere, and Adele and John, (besides being

buff), are the best of teachers. I should know, they are

my teachers and over the past few years they have

taught me, at the least, the primary series -- yes! as

taught by Sri K. Pattabhi Jois -- and at the most, yoga

that spills from the mat into my life.<br><br>Namaste

Om Shanti,
