Guest guest
YOu poo9r little thing. Actually you shouldnt need someone else to lean on. That contradicts the whole philosophy of Hatha-ashtanga yoga. Origionally yoga was was developed as a means to spiritual enlighenment, however neither I nor many others who do Ashtanga prescribe to these rather eastern beliefs. But surely we must recognise the effects on the person of pratcising yoga. Perhaps for the worst iif we practice in ignorance....

Do you still need someone to lean on ? Guest guest
Naomil may need a dictionary to lean on or atleast a Mysore style self spell group. Self practice groups sometimes help me to practice and improve upon my weaknesses. Maybe I should be able to get up six days a week at six a.m. (except moon days and ladies days) and practice by myself, but that is not my strength. It is an ideal that I fall short of and until I can do that I am thankful for other ashtangis, who are not qualified teachers, who can do their own practice, while i do mine.
