Guest guest Posted August 10, 2001 Report Share Posted August 10, 2001 Actually, it may have escaped your notice that when I said "As an Astanga practitioner, you must accept this", I was referring to the previous sentence, saying that it's up to the Guru to have the last word regarding the practice, the fees, the teacher certification etc. - not to the autocratic nature (in my view) of the guru system itself.<br><br>It may also be asked too much for a punk to understand that autocracy doesn't necessarily mean fascism, especially in the context of a spiritual practice.<br><br>Goodbye, Yogapunk.
