Guest guest
Hmmm... there was more info on the amazon UK site plus an author bio. I'm still interested if anyone knows more about the book or the author.

Heres the UK link:
http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/ASIN/1903116309/qid=997717892/sr=\ 1-1/ref=sr_ sp_re_1_1/202-3767949-4772639
Guest guest
I've noticed that book too some time ago on the Amazon UK site, and I'm still considering whether it's worth at all to buy.

Someone else posted here a while ago that he saw Juliet Pegrum practising at Eddie Stern's shala in NYC (most serious place for doing traditional Astanga Yoga on the American East Coast.)

Beware though: Juliet Pegrum is neither certified nor blessed by Sri Jois to teach the Astanga method.

(If you're looking out for a REALLY GOOD BOOK on Astanga yoga that you can order from Amazon also, try "Ashtanga Yoga" by John Scott - John is one of the two certified teachers living in the UK, and his book has also been approved by Guruji as showing the correct method.) Guest guest
Thanks for the additional info -- what really made me curious was that Guruji was listed as a co-author (could be a mistake by the amazon folks)I'd only seen that on books by John Scott and Lino Miele.

BTW I agree with you, the John Scott book is very good.
