Guest guest
There is a problem with the binding on some of the latest edition of Yoga Mala. I'm sure Eddie would be happy to replace your copy if you give him a call.

As far as diet goes, this subject has been dealt with in depth in the past. Dairy in India is considered Sattvic (pure). Milk is not full of growth hormones or anti-biotics in Idia - nor were the Indians exposed to so many other allergins as modern day westerners when this book was written.

It's true that the yogic diet recommends a lower proportion of vegetables in relation to grains as these are considered to be the cause of disease when in excess. Obviously in the west, doctors trying to counter-balance the ill effect of meat eating and junk foods which are so deficient in nutrients, recommend lots of vegetables. This however is not the solution, only reducing harmful foods can be of help.

As a matter of fact, the second copy of Yoga Mala I got yesterday - the one I thought to be faultless - is starting to fall apart too. As it turns out, the glue that fixes the pages together in the paperback edition is not strong enough!
