Guest guest
There is an interesting article I found on the itsyoga.com site - title: "On Meeting K. Pattabhi Jois: Larry's Story", http://www.itsyoga.net/us/articles_read.asp?id=4 . (Note: Larry doesn't meet SRI K.Pattabhi Jois, just simply "K.Pattabhi Jois" - like teacher meets teacher.)

In the article Larry Schultz openly admits that his teaching style deliberately deviates from the tradition. According to him, there are two Astanga Yogas: the Astanga yoga as practised at the Ashtanga Yoga Research Institute in Mysore - and then "the other story: Astanga as Practiced at It's Yoga". Has the penny dropped now?
Guest guest
What is it with you people?
Sri K. Pattabhi Jois is JUST A MAN. He is not a sage, only a man who has practiced yoga all his life (and there are many in India who do this) who happened to bring his idea to the West and it caught on!
He's the current fad and the name to drop.
Gurujii is just a man - like you or me!
twochant
