Guest guest
Oh boy, today's six rounds of Navasana were really something else. It was the perfect finalé for the second group after an exhilarating practise. Yes, the collective feeling is so incredible that yuo just want to laugh; and so we do, especially after Guruji's calls after bad men and ladies :-)

We have two practise groups. Group 1 starts at 7:30 and is meant for people who do the primary series and more. The second groups starts at 9:30 and is for all levels; from beginner to advanced. I really appreciate those people of the second group who have never before in their lives done any seated postures and still are courageously twisting and lifting their way through the series up to Navasana.

The energy and focus during the practise is something that had to be felt to be believed. Now, every muscle of my body is aching, but during the practise everything was so effortless and painless.

Shining Skull, are you sure you're not here? Today I saw a couple of Jerry's and they had this radiant glow about them... :-)

More on the same topic on another board:

http://pub42.ezboard.com/fyoga84291frm4.showMessage?topicID=51.topic<\ /a>

The real shining skull is still in Jerryland (and SEETHING WITH ENVY!!).

Guest guest
Hopeless. But soon I'll leave for Italy, where I shall probably stay until mid-October. At the start of October, I have the possibility to join workshops with Lino Miele in Milan / northern Italy. Not exactly the same as taking classes with Guruji, I agree. But since it will be my very first workshop, and since I'm also a big fan of Lino Miele himself, it'll be quite an event for me.

Keep us informed about Guruji's workshop in Helsinki! And greet Inermis, the young Finnish lady who sometimes posts on this board, if you see her!!
Guest guest
Not going to Guruji's workshop. Suffering mentally and physically. Need to take my matriculation examination this fall and stay at school all day. If only there were evening classes!!
My dearest greetings to all who are going, please enjoy for my half too! Guest guest
Hi cynxir,
Nice to hear about your experience. I´m joining the group 2 to-morrow, a bit worried about my stiff hips, but after your encouraging message I´m lookin forward to it. I´m not very much in the Ashtanga series, there are som poses in the intermediate series I´ve done for years and some in the primary series I cannot do. But I hope I get good experience and some adivce, too. I´m 60 and still learning!!
