Fifth Day - Who Stole My Stamina

Gravity calls and I had to answer. For the first

time during this course I couldn't hold on to all of

the Navasanas. Even though my mind battled my legs

started to slowly and inevitably decend towards the

floor. Same thing in Uth Pluthih, I had counted 15 slow

breaths, Guruji was up to 5 and taking a pause, and I had

to let it go. Shame on me. :(<br><br>My only comfort

is that I wasn't the only one feeling powerless.

Yesterday we had a picnic in Suomenlinna that is an old

castle & a fortress built on a large island. So, sitting

for four hours under the searing sun saps away some

strength, right. But it was nice, good people, good

weather, and good food. Guruji & entourage also came for a

visit, which was nice. <br><br>But the sunshine was just

the prelude, since after that a couple of dozen of us

went to a Sauna. I believe that the hot and moist

heaven was the true culprit, since it is very relaxing

to the muscles. <br><br>This morning on a national

tv-channel they aired a 5 minute insert about the workshop.

It is great that this event gets media coverage (3

newspapers, fourth underway, and a national tv-channel so

far.) Yours truly got also his 15 seconds of fame when

the camera zoomed on me in Marichyasana B - the pose,

coming up, vinyasa back, and cut.<br><br>I am looking

forward to tomorrow because of the joint practise. Even

though doing the series up to Navasana has been enough

to totally blow me away, it shall be a great

experience to do up to where I normally do (Upavistha

Konasana) under Gurujis supervision, and perhaps try and

tackle the rest of the series while I am at it... the 5

remaining ones are quite easy after all those wicked

twists.

Cynxir, could you please tell me in which papers

there have been articles about Guruji? I read the

article in Metro-lehti, but I haven't noticed anything in

Helsingin Sanomat so far, and I haven't actually even

looked through Ilta-Sanomat or Iltalehti.. So the exact

dates would be nice and page numbers pure luxury.. I

can check those at the library.. <br><br>Thanks,

Inermis.. (I wrote in english so I wouldn't be too

impolite..)
