Guest guest
hi does anyone do a 6 day a week Mysore practice in Boston? I know I remember reading something about a teacher who studies with Guruji who leads Mysore style in Cambridge? My boyfriend lives up that way and I wanted to check out the scene -- I'd love to talk offline with anyone willing??? kkyogagirl Namaste

Guest guest
KK,
There are a few folks that write here that are from Beantown, I believe. I know some of them, like gabita and bandawoman, also post over on the EZBoard site. You may want to try posting your question over there too. Good luck.

http://pub42.ezboard.com/byoga84291
Guest guest
I'm originally from Beantown, and I think the best way to find a mysore practice is to go to O2 yoga in somerville and talk to some of the teachers there - they don't offer a mysore class, but talking to teachers about their personal practice is how I usually end up practicing mysore. If you have no luck there, you can try Baron Baptiste's studio, but they don't practice classical ashtanga.....
Guest guest
I would love to get a mysore class going in the mornings at o2yoga. I've mentioned it before to the teachers - they all have their personal practices to think of don't they? But, one person ain't gonna start it - particularly because they had little interest in the self-practice group they had gonig twice a week.

George Whiteside (whitesideg) is still doing mysore classes at the Green Street Studios from 6:45am-8:30/9:00am. After October, he'll be moving the classes to a location in the South End. Please contact him, it would be great to strengthen the blossoming mysore-style community. Oh, and, hopefully he can do the mysore at o2yoga if they start that up. Please talk to the teachers at o2 about doing a "real" mysore class - rather than simply a self-practice. Guest guest
Hi! We offer Mysore. It is led by Cary and George who both study with Guruji. George used to offer classes in Cambridge. They are both excellent. http://www.backbayyoga.com Namaste, Lynne -- In ashtangayoga, kkyogagirlme wrote: > hi does anyone do a 6 day a week Mysore practice > in Boston?
