Guest guest
I agree with you: EZboard is a good place to discuss on astanga yoga as well as on other topics - just like this board is a good place to do so. So everyone should be free to post where they like.

As for "dogmatic thinking", "mental stiffness" etc -- maybe it might be interesting to know why Bandawoman, Sunandmike, Okrgr (sp?), and btw, Smygga you too, NEVER post here either, if not to advertise for your own club? (Although I do suspect that 'Mrjohnny' is in fact Bandawoman, but I may be wrong.) So who is dogmatic here?
Guest guest
Well, I guess that people were just fed up with the constant fighting that was going on here - it at least stopped me from taking part in the discussions when I first saw this board. Also, the prehistoric technology used here makes it practically impossible to have any kind of long discussions (no threads, no nothing). Really, from a purely technological standpoint this is the s***tiest discussion board I've ever seen. It's not about being dogmatic, there are real technological reasons why this board is just not fit for discussions.

It would be very nice to have you and the regular crowd here contributing to the other board as well.

d:-)
Guest guest
Yes, I think in general those who've moved to the ezboard, to the exclusion of this one have done so for reasons of technology, as well as the frequent fighting here.

I've seen advice for meditating which says something like, when thoughts arise, observe them, let them go without attachment or aversion. SSkull's seeming aversion to the other board has mystified me, seems to come from some kind of loyalty to, or attachment to, this board. Maybe I'm wrong, that's just the way it seems to me. I follow both boards, post to either if I get the inclination.

Edie (who has plenty of attachments and aversions of her own, but is working on them... )
