In response to Sidhe:<br><br>From the Preface by

Lino Miele in the book "Astanga Yoga":<br><br>"In 1993

in Lille, France, meeting Guruji abroad for the

first time, I experienced him in his energetic voice

calling the exact number of the Vinyasa. I was excited

and inspired to resarch further the scientific method

of the Vinyasa.<br><br>With the help of my friend

Gilles Kervice and the kind permission and grace of Sri

K. Pattabhi Jois I have completed this work,

hopefully with few mistakes."<br><br>The book appeared a

year later in 1994. So there. "Astanga Yoga" is NOT a

translation of a work written by Guruji. It's a scientific

research into the Vinyasa system Lino did HIMSELF. It's

HIS OWN work. <br><br>In the Acknowledgements he also

thanks Odile Morcrette "for supplying me with videos and

written articles to study and research."<br><br>It should

interest you though that in the latest edition of the book

Lino doesn't even put his name on the cover anymore.

So far for his humility and respect towards his

master.
