Guest guest
I was told today by a male friend and fellow yogi that in handstand the hands should be placed shoulder width apart. As a woman whose hips are wider than her shoulders I find it more natural to place my hands about hip's distance apart. Any feedback or rules of ....hands? Guest guest
It might be easier for you to hold your hands father out than shoulder width because of the balance - but keep your hands shoulder width in order to keep the wrist, arm and shoulder in one line. Otherwise you may strain your wrists or your shoulders (whichever is weaker). The balance and strength will come, keep the faith, and keep your hands/wrists/shoulders healthy at the same time.

-g
