Guest guest
Hi, i think we may have covered this before.....
so if so, apologies.

I've been practicing ashtanga for about a year now, mostly at 02 in somerville. While I love their classes, I am looking for a teacher who focuses on MORE than the physical and who can also serve as a mentor/spiritual guide, and with whom I can have a real one on one relationship. Also, its starting to look like my schedule is going to be totally chaotic, leaving me in the six am ashtanga school. Does anyone know any good ashtanga teachers around here whom I could contact?

(I'm not saying that they have to be "blessed"---just knowledgeable, informed, etc)

thanks
jess
Guest guest
Hello,
During my 1999 visit to Mysore I met a guy from Boston. His practice came about with a group of folks that met in the mornings. I don't recall his name but his partner, girlfriend whatever is named Carrie. She was planning to move there from LA in 2000. I am not sure if she did. Anyway, she gives Thai massage and has a beautiful practice-- both physical and otherwise. I would look for her to practice with. By the way I feel that regular practice is the best teacher. Good luck CASEY

Guest guest
I just did a primary series workshop with Gene Pacelli this past Sunday. I really enjoyed his approach. It sounds like he may be along the lines of what you are looking for. He’s at (978) 371-0088 or at gpacelli. I know that he teaches in South Boston often, the workshop I did was in West Concord.
