Guest guest
Hi gang...I just wanted to open up a real forum again and talk about real issues regarding our practice and try to lead some of us away from looking outside for answers and instead find them within ourselves.
This forum has so much turned into a gossip column than anything else and I've been hesitant about "contributing" to this site until now since so much is happenning in the community, feel this site may have some real potential.

I know throught the years many yoga students have left Jivamukti at one point or another and to start practicing at Eddie's. Most of them left on their own accord or may have been influenced by someone. We all know change can be scarey too and making such a leap of faith can conflict with certain expectations or in the case of those students who felt like they had "no where else to go,' have a strong resistance to change.
My question is this? How do you feel about making this change in your life when , in essence if your an ashtanga yoga practitioner, "have" to make such a radical departure? Why did you go to Jivamukti vs Eddies in the first place or vis-a-versa(to those who started at Eddies in the first place) How did you decide which school to go to? Did you explore all your options before choosing?
What really interests me is how you feel about having to change schools and teachers? It must be hard for you guys(as it ha dbeen for me in the past)and a question to all the Eddie's students: How does it feel to see all of these new students starting at Eddie's and do you think it will affect your practice? I don't mean to exclude Duncan or Guy's schools, this question includes everyone.

Hari Om
