Guest guest
<I also have a client who has a separation in her abdomen from pregnancy (years ago.) Any input on how to assist & progress her safely?> Hi Kaitlyn! This is exactly what I am struggling with to heal in my own body. After 7 children (last one 2 yrs ago) a dr told me that I would never be able to heal it with out surgery. Personally I think that it was a assinine thing for a healer to say. Anyways, I am finding my experience of practicing yoga very helpful and supportive of healing my body, attitude and thoughts. I am focusing on strengthening my back and abdomen. Also flexability and balance have really improved ( I actually got my feet over my head the other day yay!!!) I guess the best thing that has assited and progressed me, is the confidence I have regained in my body, and its ability to be strong and beautiful. Also, I have found it extreemly beneficial to go on a cleanse of some sort, and review dietary habits. I'm gradually going raw, and it's wonderful! All those organs are needing a spring cleaning after all that work. I've got a super liver cleanse from my midwife if you are interested. If you find out anything that is helpful for this particular issue, or need a guinea pig for asanas let me know. Juls
