The path of yogic maturation consists of the following eight limbs or

practices:

Yama (moral observance)

Niyama (inner integrity)

Asana (postures)

Pranayama (breath control)

Pratyahara (sensory withdrawal)

Dharana (concentration)

Dhyana (meditation)

Samadhi (contemplation)
