Yoga Camping Weekend

 

May 10-12, 2002 3pm Friday to 5:30pm Sunday

In Beautiful Point Reyes.

 

Classes convene at Yoga Toes Studio

Camping at Olema Ranch Campground

 

Weekend Schedule

Friday 12-2:30 Arrive and Pitch Camp

3-5 Vinyasa Class @ Yoga Toes

5:30-7:30 Dinner at the Station House Cafe*

7:30-9 Raja Yoga and Meditation

Saturday 8:30-10 In camp Chi Kung/ Pranayama and Meditation

3-5 Vinyasa and Partner Yoga class

8-10 Dance, Play, Pray and Celebrate

Sunday 8:30-10:30 Primary Series

1:30-3:30 Mindfulness Walk

4-5:30 Raja Yoga and Closing

 

 

$145 per person for instruction, $30 for group camping (Bring a

tent/sleeping gear.**)

BYOF (Bring your own goodies and cooking gear. Plan to share.)

*The cost of Friday Dinner is not included in the workshop fees.

** We will try to make a large tent available for those without and

for latecomers. Plan to carpool and consider sharing a tent with

someone else, as ther are more people than tent sites available.

About Samantha:

First exposed to yoga in pre-school, she has been practicing and

loving Astanga Vinyasa since 1995 and teaching for the last five

years. Her approach to yoga is influenced by studies with Baba Hari

Dass of North India and in buddhist meditation, an extensive dance

background, her growing massage practice and her life long love for

nature and the body. She looks forward to sharing this weekend with a

community of inquisitive yogis before she leaves for a second journey

to India this summer.
