Guest guest
my problem is not my knees. it's my shoulders. i'm having a hard time telling what happened -- if it's bone, joint, muscle or cartilage. i've been continuing yoga but taking it easier. no chaturangas, no backbending, no jumpbacks - basically no asanas that will impact the shoulder too much. i have to tell you my ego is having a hard time with this b/c i was making some real progress on backbending asanas. it's not chronic pain but i feel the pain when i rotate my left arm to the back of my body. i really feel it danurasana -- that arm movement activates the pain. i'm not sure if i should completely stop practicing til the pain is gain - even if that means sitting out for 6 weeks. Or if it's best to continue a modified practice. in this case do you think some movement will actually be good for it. the alternative is to stop and let this whole area and the rest of my body tighten up.
