Slipping and Sliding

During my practice, my hands and feet constantly slip and slide on my

mat or rug. I have tried mats, which are sold at my Yoga Center that

are designed for sweat, but none seem to keep me from sliding. I

have even tried rugs, wetting them slightly and dry on top of my mat

and I still slide.

As you can imagine, all this slipping and sliding during poses takes

away from my concentration and has me worrying about falling on my

face. I can't seem to remain still.

Does anyone know of any product that might stop this? There has to

be something out there!

Frustrated....

most people i know use the german mats. have you tried those? they

seem more nubby than normal mats. you can buy them at

http://www.bheka.com. it is the top mat when you click the mats link.

i do not work for bheka, but i have used them and they are a good

site. seems to be a small and personable company. namaste, lynne
