Guest guest
Hello, I have just started practicing Power Yoga and Ashtanga Yoga. I am completely new at this. So far I am enjoying it. My question is I have been doing weight-resistance training for a year now and my body has really toned up, so I am asking - by doing yoga by itself and no other exercises will my body still remain toned or will I begin to lose it? So far I prefer yoga over weight training but I don't want to lose what I have achieved over the past year. I know Madonna practices yoga and she looks awesome. Guest guest
Honestly, the people I know that only practice yoga are in the best shape of any people I know. I have been doing yoga for a bit and gave up running and going to the gym. I think that I am much more fit and toned now than ever. I see Ashtangis practice and they really rock compared to Power yoga people. Ashtanga works every part of the body from head to toe and works well to balance the body and mind. I think that Ashtanga is the best for all around physical and mental health. Guest guest
http://pub42.ezboard.com/byoga84291 Wendy: Try this Ashtanga board. You may like it better. ashtangayoga, "Wendy Moseley" <WMoseley@d...> wrote: > Thanks Michelle! This Senor has an attitude problem. I just signed up with this for Ashtanga Yoga on Friday, because I am new to it and trying to learn and I come into the office this morning and find these offensive emails from this Senor Piche Wey telling me I AM LOST. This is very disturbing. I appreciate your response but I think I will be unsubscribing from this group. I have your email Michelle, if I have any questions, I will just email you directly. I did not know I was going to be harrassed by asking a simple innocent question. I just read a couple of other emails that he sent to other people, this Senor seems very aggressive and ready to attack people and judge them. I can't tell you how disappointing this is. What happened to the SPIRITUALITY aspect of yoga? I do believe it is SENOR that is LOST, not me. > > Wendy > > - > michelle_caron@h... > ashtangayoga > Monday, June 03, 2002 6:52 AM > RE: ashtanga yoga Quick Question > > > I believe her question only focused on the physical aspect of yoga.
