Guest guest
I have been practicing Ashtanga for 18 months now and have found that I am very stiff in the pelvic area around the time of my cycle through the first few days. According to the true laws of Ashtanga, we are not suposed to practice then. Also, do not do the inverted poses. The backflow of the cycle can create a problem if it flows into the stomache and outer vaginal area. That is how endometriosis is formed. This is not a falicy, it is fact. I do practice at times just before, but I find that I am usually tired, and stiff.
