Guest guest
His grandson has the most wonderful practice and will be taking over for guruji. I saw the way he was teaching in NY and my own teacher has been to Mysore a few times to study and he says he is a wonderful teacher. I think the tradition will still be there regardless. > > clk0893 [sMTP:no_reply] > Wednesday, June 26, 2002 11:27 AM > ashtanga yoga > ashtanga yoga when should i go to mysore? > > i've had the opportunity to attend guruji's workshops here in ny. i > don't really enjoy the led practice and find it a bit hard to keep up > w/ everyone who has mastered the primary series. i prefer mysore so i > can go more at my own pace and not try to keep up. in the led classes > last year there were jump thrus to chaturanga after each asana. i'm > not quite there yet. anyway i love guruji's energy and felt some of > it in NY. but i also found the classes very crowded and never got any > personal attention from him. at his age, he is simply amazing and > looks like he'll be around for a while. my dream is to go to mysore > and study with him. unfortunately i've been hit hard by the recession > and don't see this happening anytime soon. let's face it, guruji is > getting up in age and i don't think i have a lot of time to waste. > how long should i put this off for? > > > > Sponsor > > > <http://rd./M=226014.2032696.3508022.1829184/D=egroupweb/S=170506 > 0955:HM/A=1000239/R=0/*http://ads.x10.com/?bHlhaG9vaG0xLmRhd=1025105193%3e > M=226014.2032696.3508022.1829184/D=egroupweb/S=1705060955:HM/A=1000239/R=1 > > > > <http://us.adserver./l?M=226014.2032696.3508022.1829184/D=egroupm > ail/S=1705060955:HM/A=1000239/rand=393550628> > > > ashtanga yoga > > > > Terms of Service > <>.
