Thank you for responding..yes, i have suggested an appropriate diet, variouse

herbs, and tonics too...she says she is extreamly diabetic and has to watch

watch she takes so I need to refer her to an Ayurvedic doctor because that is

out of my level of experience (I rather be safe than sorry)...and I encourag her

to keep a cool head...she is very active (one of the most prominate gym trainers

in our area) and she is addicted to exercise..she is a true "athlete" and pitta,

with an ectomorph physic. I would like her to actually just take a break

"physically speaking" and relax but she wants to move.."she isn't at the point

where she wants to think or feel...know what I mean? I know it will come

eventually" I just saw that particular namaskar and was interrested in what it

was (I have seen and heard various interpretations) and want to see if anyone

can confirm at least one of these versions that I have found in the last few

days. anything "moon" is cooling so I am just at the point where using

repetition "cool, surrender, relax, release" of these words and concepts that

she will be interrested in taking "her" yoga to another level that most of us

experience.

Diet is more important than incorporating an asana if the

person's lifestyle is taken into account. Also, doing abyanga at

least once a week will greatly decrease accumulation of body

heat which is what happens most readily from yoga when pitta is

out of balance. Very important to do this and more important to

adjust diet and lifestyle. Sorry if it doesn't answer your question

Also, I see on your website that you are a holder of an "advanced

teaching certificate in Ashtanga yoga":

>From your website:

"Having earned advanced teaching certification in two Hatha

Yoga lineages - Sivananda and Ashtanga - she further received

diksha (initiation) into the Yogic fellowship in 1990, and is

currently a theology student at Kriya Yoga Seminary. Yogini

Shakti dedicates her practice to the many outrageously beautiful

instructors, swamis, and gurus she has met - and continues to

meet - upon the path of her life."

Just curious who gave you such a certificate - ? Since in

Ashtanga, the only person recognized to give people permission

to teach is Pattabhu Jois...
