Guest guest
Thank you all for your input regarding my chandra namaskar question. It is so nice to see so many that are willing to share their knowledge. I now have so many versions of this namaskar that it will keep me busy for a long time.... In ashtanga we have the surya A and B, in satyananda surya and chandra namaskar. Now the thing is that the posture in the middle of chandra namaskara resembles a lot of the virabhadrasana in ashtanga`s sun salutation B. You also do both sides, right side first and then left side, so i am sure there must be a connection somewhere betwen this northern form of yoga(satyananda/sivananda) and the southern (ashtanga). ashtangayoga, malsag <no_reply> wrote: > Check out funkybadlady's thinly-disguised scepticism! > > ashtangayoga, funkybadlady <no_reply> wrote: > > You know, I think we realize that there are many variations, > etc...I > > just found some random link and threw it up for fun instead of > > pontificating about "chandra namaskar."
