Guest guest
This is a forum where we discuss Ashtanga Yoga as taught by Sri K. Pattabhi Jois of Mysore, India, which also includes Patanjali's eight limbs of yoga as well, but not necessarily. This should not be too confusing. For an accurate description of what Guruji teaches, go to www.ayri.org and/or www.ashtanga.com Yogini Shakti do you have a teacher yourself? Because without a guru of your own your advise has limited scope - you show up all of a sudden and start giving advise to everyone??? At least it would be nice to know from what angle you come. It would just be nice to have some context for the advise that you seem to like to give away. Having a degree in physical education wouldn't mean much to me when looking for a yoga teacher - although I'm sure it has it's value in it's own place. This is an ashtanga yoga forum. "A teacher without a teacher follows a fool." Now, to finish my rave, MR VINAY!!! Please. We just got your last spam not two weeks ago. We all know about your website and your rugs and your trinkets. Since you do not contribute to this forum as a member, and only contribute S (repeatedly), you are doing what is considered spamming. Either contribute as a member of the group, or do not contribute at all. I don't want to offend you, but several people here and on the ezboard tried to communicate this nicely once or twice already but you just don't get it... You need to go about advertising through the correct channels and pay for it just like everybody else. Taking advantage of this group to do free advertising is like stealing - It's not fair and I for one would like it if you would please knock it off. I am tired of hearing over and over again about your rugs and your website and as a result I most certainly will never buy anything from you, ever. OK? Coolsons. I already explained to you in an earlier post how to wrap text. Guest guest
Dear "Yogini Shakti" (do you require your students to address you by that pretentious title? I saw your website - no Ashtanga spoken there!) That doesn't mean you shouldn't participate in the group, just use a little humility when you start dolling out koans. I am not fixated on you. I find your inccessant and numerous posts highly irritating. I also find your advise sanctimonious, evasive and arrogant. You asked for it... Your inability to answer a question directly and use a "parable" instead gives the impression that you are more interested in impressing people with your infinite wisdom that in telling the truth and having a normal, human conversation.
