7 days a week, except moon days?

I was just thinking about how it said that one should practice everyday,

except for moon days. Modern sports science seems to say that the muscles

require at least one day of rest between days of exertion in order for them

to heal and develop properly. So if this is the case, it would mean that you

would be better off practicing 3-4 times a week maximum.

 

Thoughts?

Brother, one should practice asana and meditation everyday. The rest

should be from work and other mundane matters, sex included.
