Guest guest
''Personally, again, I need to rest my muscles once in awhile and then I am much more flexible the next day.'' Margee I find that too much is couterproductive. I take only one week per month to emphasize a particular aspect (be it strengh, endurance. flexability etc.)and then return to general practice. This keeps me in my ''zone'' and progressing at a comfortable pace. Also I learned from a macrobiotic cook that ''Do-In'' recommends daily foot massage. Every day when I bathe or shower I massage my feet for a couple of minutes. It is amazing what general well-being this procures..somehow, it seems to aide in recuperation as well. Having overtrained on various occasions, now I adopt a less aggressive approach and prefer to enjoy my practice and wait for my body to tell me when its ready for more challenging workouts. Peace, Ricardo
