** Yes. I call it a 'walk over'.

** Hhhmmmm .. well, first the obvious: you need a very strong

chakrasan. Second, have very strong abs & lower back (something not

necessarily associated with chakrasan). Third, have strong shoulders

& arms.

Once in chakrasan, you lift a knee to your chest. This position puts

your lower spine in a 'compromised' position. To assist the body's

transition, your base leg (one on the ground) should raise on its

upper toe. At the same time, tuck in your tail-bone. This means,

from your current position, raise your tail-bone towards the ceiling.

At this time, you need to tighten your lower abdominal 'wall', above

the pubic bone, & do a pelvic-tilt. This may manifest, at first, as

a slight (or larger) thrust. (Similar to that seen in salabhasan or

ardo mukho vrksasan.) Now, you can either stop in the latter asan,

or proceed into tadasan.

Om Shanti ...

Actually, the correct answer to your question is that you should

learn and practice the primary series, then the intermediate

series before learning tic tacs, and this will prepare your body for

the strength and flexibility it needs.

Any old gym teacher or gynmastics coach can give you step-by-

step instructions on how to do a handstand and back "walk-

over", but that does not mean you are ready or able to do this

difficult posture in yoga which is something completely different

from what Shakti-babe here calls it. Besides you should always

learn from a qualified instructor. Not from some on-line pedant.
