Guest guest
Hi I've just joined the group to ask a question for those second series practitioners out there. I've been learning second series for a year now with a few significant breaks here and there and am now just finishing off the last few postures. I don't know if this is the norm but far from feeling invigorated and healed by the practice I find that I'm having increasing mental unease whenever I begin to practice it again intensely. Perhaps this is just where I am in my life anyway but is it possible that this is exacerbated by the practice? If this is the same experience as other practitioners - is this just what you have to go through and will it eventually pass? Any help on this greatly appreciated. Guest guest
Who is teaching you Intermediate? Have you perfected each asana before moving onto the next one? Practicing for only one year and finishing the entire series? You must be extremely strong and flexible as that sounds like a short time frame to learn Intermediate. If you are moving too quickly through the series or if you have not mastered Primary properly, you will have many of the disturbances that you describe. Guest guest
I can confirm that my teacher is certified and I am just a bit further along than I was in Mysore, studying with the blessed guru himself. By the way I don't think you're the real ESPW - are you? If you are I have some news of some serious yoga criminality for you. ashtangayoga, senor_pinche_wey <no_reply> wrote: > Who is teaching you Intermediate? > Have you perfected each asana before moving onto the next one? > Practicing for only one year and finishing the entire series?
