Guest guest
Thailand is a little far from where I am but a group of people from my climbing gym did make that trip last year and said it was terrific. I would like to do some climbing trips and also yoga retreats. Time and money permitting of course. I climb in and around Canmore and Lake Louise, Alberta, Canada. It is terrific out here too, with almost unlimited sport and trad routes, easy access, and good facilities nearby (a helicopter and hospital is comforting). Super energy too. Yesterday I took a yoga class in Canmore, with a great view of the mountains, and it was very energizing; the mountain air and bright sunlight were super, and I felt really light. I'd like to practice near the ocean, as I imagine the effect is similar. I wonder if the tide wrecks your balance postures?! Cheers, Lawrence. --- Maureen Bolton <bolto11 wrote: > Lawrence: I'm also a rock climber -I agree that > yoga > (especially Ashtanga) enhances strength, flexiblity > and endurance, all of which are essential for rock > climbing.
