injured, arrahh....

Well, I went a little too hard and am now paying for

it... I got into Marchiyasana D for the first time and

it felt O.K., nothing painfull, but a couple of days

later the side of my knee was aching a bit. I

stretched one of the horizontal ligaments a bit too

far. Also I was trying to do that clever vinyasa from

boat into a handstand...jeez that's hard...and

mananged to tweek the muscle underneath my clavical.

Now it is a bit swolen and my upper rib cage aches..

 

I went to the doctor today, and his advice was to give

it a week or so and slowely get back into it. No big

damage, just some swollen tissue, but a wake up call

for me... The Doc asked me the cause of the injury and

I described the Yoga moves, and he just like rolls his

eyes...

 

Now, I'm depressed becuase I can't go to class or go

climbing and have to take it easy. S**T.
