Guest guest Posted December 24, 2002 Report Share Posted December 24, 2002 Michael- I personally find that i practice better in the later afternoon, since I am awake and am much more limber by then. I was getting up very early and practicing at 5:45am for awhile and I loved the stillness and the energy I had during the day, but, I was very inflexible compared to an afternoon practice. I know someone who was practicing twice a day for awhile and she became very ill because of it. You need to rest your body and one practice a day is enough. There are also easier yoga asanas that you can do for relaxation or stretching if you feel the need. There is alot to life, don't miss it by becomming so focused on the practice that you forget all else. Happy holidays.
