I have actually been practicing yoga for the past 2 years and Ashtanga for the past 6 months. I started taking classes in Austin, Texas at a facility called YogaYoga and have now purchased David Swenson's book and DVD. There is a new guy at the South location Chuck, who sounds interesting. Swensen actually lives in here in Austin but teaches just about everywhere else. If you're interested in having a workshop with him you could ask Peggy Kelley at Austin Yoga School. She arranges a lot of awesome workshops here as well as being a really excellent teacher herself. Her classes are great and she is a wonderful teacher. I would encourage anyone to take her class.
