Guest guest
Congratulations and welcome to the joys of Ashtanga. The only remedy I can suggest for soreness is to practice on a frequent (daily, if possible) basis. Also, don't push yourself -Ashtanga Yoga is a challenge but it isn't a competition. Relax and breathe. Check yourself during the asanas to make sure you aren't subconsciously holding your breath -that usually means you are forcing the posture as opposed to letting it happen. I wish you the best of luck with your practice and if you're ever in Iowa-stop by my studio. Kind Regards, Maureen --- "anngilchrist <anngilchrist" <anngilchrist wrote: > HI, > I have been trying out Ashtanga sporadically > for the past couple > of years.
