Hi,

I have never practiced at Open Door, but when I

checked the web site I discovered that Devorah Sacks

leads the Mysore class there. I encountered Devorah

when she was assisting John Berlinsky's class in Mill

Valley several years ago. I found her adjustments to

be sensitive, respectful and competent. And I

understand that she has since received Guruji's

blessing to teach.

 

Another SF place I would avoid is SF Astanga Yoga out

in the Richmond...I found Meier, the main teacher

there to be generally insensitive and dis-respectful.
