Guest guest
I'm new to the group and I did look in the archives for this subject but the answer to my question was not there. Perhaps you all can help.I've been practicing seriously about 2 months. In the last month I've been able to go to class every day and this last week I've done 3 sessions of 2 classes back to back. Last night I came home with an abrupt and painful sore throat. Today I'm running a fever and still have the sore throat. Is this a symptom of a release of toxins and if it is can I accerate the process? Thanks in advance, Pam
Guest guest
First of all I hope you are practicing AShtanga Yoga as described in Yoga Mala, LIno Iele books or John Scott. IN Yoga mala page 122 "..... MOreover, following Shirshasana, they should only sit in Padmasana and do pranayama and the like, but no further asanas. Otherwise, danger is certain." So Pam the thing is to practicing once a day prefereably in the early morning. And always doing the closing sequence and then no more practice until the next day. Parience is to be learned from this asanas. Healing is coming.
